Hot Paw Alert provides free pavement safety notifications based on forecast air temperatures. We estimate risk levels — we do not measure actual pavement temperature. Always check pavement with the back of your hand before walking your dog.

This service provides estimates based on weather data. Actual pavement temperatures can vary significantly based on sun exposure, material, shade, and time of day. We are not liable for injuries to pets or persons resulting from use of this service. Always use your own judgment and test pavement manually.

Service Availability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. Weather data depends on third-party APIs which may be unavailable at times. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Termination

You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by replying STOP to SMS. We may terminate service for abusive use (e.g., spam signups, API abuse).
